Looking to replace my dead cyclo ds and figured i'd get something compatable with my 3ds as well. Is this good enough? is it one of those time bomb cards and if so is there a way around that other than messing with the internal clock?

i want to use save states, aka rts, on my R4 SDHC RTS LITE. I enabled the rts feature on a game, but I don't know the button combination for creating a save state and loading a save state. How do I figure out the button combination?

Need Help Identifying Obscure R4i Pro Gold card

I've had this R4i card in my shelf for over 9 years and decided to get back into DS gaming. The only problem being that I cannot find the firmware for it, since the site is dead, and I cannot remember the exact name of the card. The sticker is peeled off for some reason as well. The only thing I remember is that it was an R4i Pro Gold, or something like that. Below is a photo attached with the circuitry, hopefully somebody can identify what kind of card this is and what firmware would work....

Hello, i just recieved my r4 card. It's an R4 SDHC Dual Core. link is r4isdhc. com i formatted it, put the correct kernel on it, it booted up first time. then when i turned my ds lite off and on again it refuses to boot. have tried 2 sd cards 10+ times each. been at it for 2 hours. everytime i have to format my sd card and try again. every time it works once then fails. please help

I bought a Pokemon Edition DSi along with a R4 Gold card. I put the lastest version of R4 firmware on my R4 and put all Pokemon games after. Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, Soul Silver and even Light Platinum hack works, just that Gen 5 games only load and give me a white screen after. I tried both normal and patched versions of the games and none of them seems to work. What can I do to play the Gen 5 Pokemon games on my DSi? Thanks in advance for helping me and I wish you all a great day!

I make a folder and drop all the files from the eNDryptS Advanced download and drop a game ( dsi game to make it work on nds r4 ) in to the eNDryptS Advanced application and opens a command prompt and gives u numbers to press depanding on what i wanna do so i pick " 1 " and loads a new screen on the same command prompt and i get a few files but i don't get a nds game i just get 2 files called patch something and patch something . So i need some help on doing this could some one...

Reading the NDS Icon Data

Hey Everyone,

I'm in the middle of implementing the Icon Reading into my Rominator program, but since I've never extracted data like this before (tile and palette data) I'm a little puzzled on how it's done.

Currently, it reads the Icon Location from 0x68 to 0x6B. It jumps to that location, and reads the specified data:
Icon Offset + 0x20 = Tile Data (512 Bytes)
Icon Offset + 0x220 = Palette Data (32 Bytes)

I've got 'em all loaded, but am not sure how the system works.

When I open my R4i 3DS flashcard on my New 2ds XL, it says:

More or less as the topic title says, and to avoid necro'ing an otherwise inactive thread.

my OG DStwo is basically dead. have to face facts on that one. And try as I might, I can't seem to flash my GW Blue cart to work as an NTR one; not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but at least it seems to still be usable. Sure, it helps that a DSi and a 3ds can run TwilightMenu++, but I have to say I do miss how good the homebrew was that used the resources of the DStwo. And it's sad that for as...

Trying to Play my DSone Mini Supercard in my DSIXL 1.45E firmware

Hi i had in the past a dsone mini supercard. I now have changes to r4 gold version but i today just found this one again and i tried to give it a try in my dsi xl as in the past worked perfectly. But when i plug it into my ds nothing comes on. It seems like the card is broken but i read somewhere that it supported systems bellow firmware 1.45. Is it real? Can i mod my dsi xl and just run it there or not?

Hi all, I just discovered this place after I bought a flashcard on ebay and have been struggling to make it work. I'm getting "errcode=-82" and "please upgrade the hardware for support latest firmware" errors. Here's the card I received:

I just got my R4 gold pro flash card but It will not allow me to play my nds games. I can use homebrew/emulators but I cannot play nds games. Every time I try I get the message: "savfile not founded! Please reset system." I have tried renaming the files to an all lowercase 8 letter name, changing SAV into sav using dsorganize, and downloading save files from the internet. Hi, I am really stuck, I had transferred my files from the mini sd to a backup location as I needed the sd card but when I eventually transferred the files back I got a "?menu" error. I tried downloading everything fresh but nothing seems to work. My R4i is the HappyBox v1.4 and my DS firmware is v 1.4.4E Would appreciate any help!

I have tried to find the system file for the m3i zero flashcart but they all are for filetrip so i cant download them. I would of asked in the "ASK!" place but the button to ask a question wasn't showing up when I went into a category.

I know these kind of questions have probably been done to death here, but I'm having trouble finding the correct firmware for my R4 Card; when I download one from r4i-sdhc and paste it's files on my R4, it simply does not read. Years ago I remember with another card that I would get a menu? error, but my DSi simply does not read this card, it's completely blank, like there is no card inserted.
I've attached a picture of the card I'm using below, help would be greatly appreciated

I bought this card dirt cheap few days ago for my nintendo ds lite but I can't find kernel and firmware for this card anywhere. I know that this is very old card but still wanna try to make use of it.
Can someone help me out with this?
