I'm aware that these bad boys require that cable to work.

My cable, unfortunately, seems to be completely MIA, and while I have a "Visoly Advanced Gear" linker, it seems the two don't seem to play nice together. I realised all this after I buy one from ebay XD

However, I was wondering if I bought a GBA gameshark kit that had the cable like this one:...

Hello everybody.
I won this Flashcard in a game of Strip poker ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), and I would like to put it to use to present this brave benefactor. =)

The flashcart shows this symptom, it is detected normally by 3ds as by a Dslite, but in the first boot, comes white screens.

Anyone have any idea if this is an FC brick, or lack of proper files? By my research he is a clone of DSTT (red mainboard) but I do not...

R4i Gold 3ds or R4i Gold Pro

Hi, i'm looking for a R4 card to play ace attorney: Apollo Justice, and 999. I found the site which sponsors GBA (nds-card.com) and I a lot of GBAtempers say that r4i gold is the best one. Well, I looked for it and I find two different ones; gold 3ds and gold pro 2017. I'm more inclined to the cheaper one but I need to know is there a massive difference between these two.

Question about r4isdhc.com

Hi guys, in my country they're selling only r4isdhc.com's R4 Cards. So it is my only option for a flashcart.
Is there anyway to bypass its time bomb? (without changing the date)
Will it work on my A9LH'd 3ds?
I read something about YSMenu -*it bypasses time bomb afaik*- can I install it to my R4?

accidentally updated to 1.4.5E, m3i zero no longer works

i took a chance and updated my DSi to 1.4.5E, because i needed to check the store for something. unfortunately the thing i wanted wasn't in the store, and not only that but now my m3i zero no longer works.

first question, is there a firmware for m3i zero that works on DSi 1.4.5E?

if not, what is my best option for a replacement cart? i don't really mind how much it costs, if the compatibility is high and the card is well supported i can pay a little more.

So ive ordered a DSTT from nds-card.com on the 23rd of January and I payed using a visa credit card. The payment still hasn't been updated to payment received do i have anything to worry about or is this normal? I emailed them earlier today and i am waiting for a response so i would like to ask a place that approves of them if you guys have had it happen to you.

How do you restore saves in smallftpd?

So I've restored my saves a lot in the past, but I can't for the life of me remember how to do it. The "restore data in card from sav file" is grayed out. Can someone help me? Like I said, I've done this before and the settings are right because I didn't change anything, but I don't remember what the directory is supposed to be.

A few questions about getting a (R4i) flashcart

I'm currently conflicted between whether to get a flashcart or a Cartridge to USB adapter, so that I can edit my Pokemon save files.

For reference, I have a DSi with the latest FW version(1.4.5)

If I get a flashcart will I be able to:

Use AltWFC with my cartridge(not with a ROM)?

Backup my cartridge saves/ROMs?

Edit my cartridge saves?




I really just want to be able to trade with myself and/or Pokegen Pokemon into my game.

Okay so I got this old clone from http://www.r4i3d.com ( http://www.r4i3d.com/en_US_gamekernel4.html )
it worked just fine on my 2DS, but not perfectly (No AR cheats, no Homebrews, Etc...) and my sister had a DS Lite with http://www.r4isdhc.com/ (actually a clone from that), but was better than mine (working homebrews and stuff, but sometimes freezes and no in-game reset, only with home / power button)
both our flashcards worked on both our consoles, but...

No Card inserted on Game Card slot (again...) help?

Ok, how come this has never been a completed mod on a phat? To have a brighter backlight? I love mine other than that. If anyone with any information on the screens could post, that would be great.

Or is there something in the DS phat that disallows there to be a brighter screen/led's?

Have an R4SDHC and themes aren't working

Hi. I have an R4SDHC I have to look at for somebody here and it won't load themes, it just shows a purple screen at the start and says game. It has a moonshl and _system_ folder. inside the system folder theres themes and in that theres 12 themexx (01 to 12) folders. They all have the themes and icons in them but it won't load them just has a purple screen with no icons and I have to just press A then it loads the game list. There's supposed to be 3 icons on the bottom screen.

I've noticed that there are quite a few different ways of loading flashcarts on 3DS, and that theoretically if a cart appears on the 3DS menu it should be possible to boot it; what happens in my case, however, is that if I launch the flashcart I'm greeted by a white screen, and Google didn't help me find anyone who has had the same issue.

I'm using a cart I bought around September 2011, so the firmware must be from around that time (its website is all but dead now)....

R4 clone - white screen on 2DS on 11.3 with Luma3DS.

while i was looking for my old dsi cartridges, i found my old acekard 2i, i installed what i need, but when i launched it, it said that a error was ouccured, i looked up tutorials, and i need a dsl or dsi, how can i fix it without a dsl or dsi? but if you have a working one, please send me files of it :)

With all the new colors in Japan, surely there must be discussion of this but I can't find a topic like this. (Yes I searched)

I thinking about buying a Red DSi (irrevelant to the question,but I mention it), and I was wondering if there was a way to change its region to US instead of Japanese. Mainly because I want a Red DSi, with english menus at the least.

Is a region change possible, like it is on the Wii?

R4i Change the menu text strings

I actually have a R4i SDHC clone, but I imagine they work in the same way so the same answer would apply.

Basically I'm trying to change the text that appears at the bottom of the screen when you get the 3 icons in the main menu. I'm talking about the bit that says "Games", "Multimedia", and "Config". These aren't a part of the skin itself and need their text strings edited elsewhere, from the looks of it.

I know its probably not a big deal for most people, but I don't use the DS for...

Hi, I bought a flashcard some time ago and I can't find the specific software for it. The official site that it says on the card and on the box is "www.r4issdhc.com" but apparently it has been sold. I tried to use other softwares but it gives me the same exact error. A pissed off SD card in red saying "menu?". Please help me, thanks

Hello all.

Recently i'd earned a DSLite "bundled" with a classic R4 from my sis (yeah, the ones whose only accepts up to 2GB SD cards), and also a GBA SP with a few cartridges (no flashcarts for). Researching about the possibilities, i'v found about homebrews, GBA (problematic) emulation on DS, the DS Browser, and even about the Pokemon's RTC issue. So i become decided to expand at maximum both the consoles by buiyng both a Slot-2 flashcart than a DSTWO+ - it seems to be the most complete...
